Widnes to Speke along the Mersey

Over the Runcorn bridge to Widnes, you start from Pickerings Pasture, with great views of the Mersey, Runcorn, the Silver Jubilee Bridge and across to Ellesmere Port and the Wirral.
The route goes through the lovely village of Hale, home of the Childe of Hale, a 9 foot 3 inch giant from the 1600s, and into the park and woods, then along the shore past Hale lighthouse towards Speke and Liverpool Airport.
