The Sandstone Trail is one of the oldest and most popular middle distance walks in the North West, 34 to 35 miles from Frodsham to Whitchurch, and it makes a perfect three day walking holiday.

Day one starts in Frodsham and climbs onto the sandstone ridge for the views from Frodsham Hill, then heads through Delamere Forest past Old Pale and on to Willington, below Kelsall.
