Redesmere and Capesthorne Hall
Round Redesmere and past Capesthorne Hall, a stately home that's been on the telly more often than most actors.

A four mile loop near Macclesfield, starting at Redesmere, a man-made lake that feeds the pools at Capesthorne Hall.
Capesthorne is an 18th century hall that's still home to the Bromley-Davenport family, with the house and gardens open in summer. It's been a filming location for Coronation Street, Cobra, Little Birds, the 1980s Sherlock Holmes and even Treasure Hunt with Anneka Rice.
The route passes the hall and loops back through Siddington's quiet farmland.
