Blink and you'd miss Lower Withington, just outside Holmes Chapel and right by Jodrell Bank. From the village green, with the Red Lion close by, you head out over the fields, down the lanes and through the woods.
It's about 3.8 miles, a nice length for a pub walk, and very peaceful open country. I point out where you could extend it into a longer loop, or head on towards Siddington.
