You might know Shakerley Mere, but did you know there's another mere a few hundred yards away on the other side of the M6? Neither did I. It's called Dovemere, and it's a much quieter spot.
I've run from Goostrey before through the woods to the Peover estate. This time the route heads through Allostock to find Dovemere, then loops back over the fields.
