Wrenbury is a lovely village beyond Nantwich on the way to Whitchurch. It sits on the Llangollen Canal near the South Cheshire Way, surrounded by farmland criss-crossed with footpaths, which makes it a great place to start a walk.
There are two popular pubs right by the canal, and the Cotton Arms is the start and finish. The loop heads out over the fields and comes back along the towpath past Wrenbury's lift bridge.
