From Weaver Parkway near Winsford you run the whole length of the Whitegate Way, the old railway that took salt from Winsford to the Chester line, to Cuddington.

Then it's across the fields to Hartford and Greenbank in Northwich, down to Marshall's Arm nature reserve on the River Weaver, and back along the river to Winsford, crossing at Vale Royal Locks. A beautiful long loop.
