From Sandbach to the canal at Wheelock, along the old railway on the Wheelock Rail Trail to Ettiley Heath, back through Brook Wood.

From the cobbles by the Saxon Crosses you head down to the canal at Wheelock and pick up the Wheelock Rail Trail, an old railway line, following it to the far end at Ettiley Heath.
The way back comes through Wheelock and Brook Wood. A little over five miles, and one of my regular runs.
