What a gorgeous day and a beautiful route. From Sandbach you head over the fields to Love Lane at Betchton, pick up the South Cheshire Way over to Rode Heath, then join the Trent and Mersey Canal and follow it back to Sandbach.
Nine miles, and I'd heartily recommend it if you've not been that way before.
