Sandbach has more woodland than you'd think. From the cobbles you go down Crown Bank and Church Street into Dingle Wood, then Filter Bed Wood, and out to Bradwall.
The way back comes through Elworth via Coronation Wood, Brook Wood and St Mary's Dell, all following the little brooks that run through the town. Seven and a half miles of green on the doorstep.
