Moston, Wheelock and the Dancing Bridge
Along the canal from Moston to Wheelock, past the dancing bridge, through Brook Wood and St Mary's Dell and back through Sandbach.

It was the Great North Run that day, and while this isn't the Great North Run, it's a great run in the north.
From the canal at Plant Lane in Moston you follow the towpath to Wheelock, then the footpath past the dancing bridge to Mill Hill Lane, on through Brook Wood and St Mary's Dell, through Sandbach town and back. Eight and a half miles, and one of my oldest routes.
