Picture postcard Cheshire: from Bunbury, TV's Great Paxford, over the fields to Beeston Castle and the Shady Oak.

Bunbury might look familiar: it was Great Paxford in ITV's Home Fires. You run across the fields to Higher Bunbury, home of the Dysart Arms and the 14th century church of St Boniface, then on over the fields to Beeston and past the castle on its crag.
It's about two and a half miles to Beeston, so a shorter there and back with a visit to the castle works well. I carried on down the lane to the Shady Oak at Tiverton on the canal before looping back.
