Just outside Whitchurch in north Shropshire there's so much to explore: farmland, lanes and little villages.
You start at Brown Moss, a beautiful, peaceful nature reserve of pools and heath, and head south on the Shropshire Way to Prees Heath, crossing the common, a reserve famous for its silver-studded blue butterflies. Then it's through Prees Higher Heath and Twemlows Big Wood and over the fields to Ash Parva and Ash Magna before heading back.
