Just outside Kelsall, this beautiful loop takes in Willington Corner, Boothsdale and the steep little valleys known as Little Switzerland.

From the free car park at Primrose Hill Wood you head down the track and join the Sandstone Trail, then drop to Boothsdale and the Boot Inn, a lovely old pub tucked into the hillside, before climbing back up. Three and a half miles, with a couple of good climbs.
