A short hop from Sandbach to Brereton, parking near the Bears Head. The route goes through the Brereton Hall estate to Brereton Heath Country Park, then picks up the Dane Valley Way through Swettenham, past the Swettenham Arms, and over the fields by Twemlow Green to Holmes Chapel before looping back.
It's a lovely stretch of the Dane valley, with pubs at both ends.
